MS Word - Microsoft Word, Backstage View
In Microsoft Word, Backstage View is the screen that appears when you click the File tab in the Ribbon. It was introduced in Word 2010 and is available in later versions, including Word 2013, 2016, 2019, 2021, and Microsoft 365.
Backstage View provides a centralized location to manage your Word documents and application-level settings rather than editing the content directly. It focuses on the “behind the scenes” tasks, such as saving, printing, sharing, and setting permissions.
