1. Configuration of a Twitter account or how to setup a Twitter account
The first thing we must do is create a Twitter account, for this we will need an email, phone number, mail and put our date of birth. We must enter the page https://twitter.com/i/flow/signup. The first thing you will see is the trends, where we can configure it according to our needs and preferences. We can customize them according to our location and followers; if we deactivate this option, we can change the trends according to the region or country. Once the trends are configured, we will find the related tweets. We can also use those trends (#) so that users can find our posts.
2. Publish on Twitter or Twitter posts
The first thing we must do is create a Twitter account, for this we will need an email, phone number, mail and put our date of birth. We We will see how to make a publication where Twitter recommends the most common trends. We place the title, then we place the # and we select the trends suggested by Twitter. We can place the URL, emojis, images. We have options to send another Tweet within the same Tweet. Once published, we can see the Tweet on our profile. Our followers will be able to see the published content. Once the Tweet is published, it cannot be modified, we can only delete it, fix it in the profile, we can insert it on a web page, mute the Tweet and see the hidden responses.
3. Tweet with images or Publication on Twitter, with images
We can post from here, we can add a photo and configure it, add an animated gif, create polls, and add emojis. For this example we will post an image. Once the video is published, we can play it, control the volume, and maximize it, advance or rewind. To finish we can delete the Tweet, fix the Tweet, insert the Tweet and see the activity of the Tweet. We go to our profile to see our publication. We must remember that our video must be in mp4 format, maximum duration 2:30 min and maximum size of 512 Mb.
6. Twitter Survey creation
To create surveys we must access our Tweet account, go to start and choose the bar graph option. We write the question we want to ask. Example: What social networks do you like the most? Answers: Instagram, Facebook, Tweet. We must set the duration of the survey. In surveys, only the option to insert emojis is enabled. Finally, we Tweet. We go to profile and we can view our survey, the number of voters and the remaining days will be displayed.
7. twitter Direct messages, twitter private messages
We go to the option of messages and we select send a message. We select the option to start a conversation, we search for the person?s account and type the message. We can send images, animated gif and emojis in the message. We can configure the options to receive a direct message and then there are more options - Settings and privacy, Privacy and security, direct messages. If we opt to receive messages from any user, we will be able to receive messages from those who wish to write to us and we will be able to decide whether or not to accept the messages.
8. Twitter screen configuration
With ?More? option, we can change the colors of our twitter screen, font and background. We can add an image to our profile and edit the name and description of our account.
9. Twitter profile
From our profile, we can see the Twitter accounts that we follow and the Twitter accounts that follow us. We can stop following an account or user at any time. From our profile we can access the Twitter accounts that we follow and the accounts that follow us. In addition, we can activate the notifications and thus we can know when the user has made a new publication. We have the options such as: Deactivate, Retweet, Add lists, view lists, view moments, copy profile link (to share it), silence, block or report the account. We can also search for accounts based on our search criteria.
10. Interaction with other Twitter accounts
We see the most recent Tweet of the accounts we are following, under each Tweet we will see a ribbon that will allow us to: send via direct message, add to bookmarks and copy the Tweet link. We can like, Retweet and comment with emoji. When we Retweet it is shown on our profile. We can browse a particular account and perform all these actions on its Tweet.
11. Notifications on twitter and saves on twitter
In the notifications, we can see the accounts of people or who follow us, see who has given us a like, we can see the mentions. In ?saved? we will see the entire Tweet that we have saved and that is of interest, to us.
12. How to use Twitter lists
It is a set of Twitter accounts that are of interest to us, so that we will be able to tweet them every day. We can create our lists, we name the list such that the name is not greater than 25 characters, we add the description and we can configure it as public or private. Next, we will look for the members for our list. After we finish, we then need to check our list with all its content. We can edit our list later and add accounts that we do not currently follow. We can view the lists of other accounts in their profile and we can subscribe to those lists, but we must have the permission of the creator of the list.
13. Twitter Privacy Options, Twitter Login and Twitter Security
We go to ?more options? and then, settings and privacy, it shows us the username which, we can edit. We may also update or remove our phone number, email, and password. In addition, we have a two-phase verification process that allows us to verify our account through a text message sent to our phone, but first, we must link our phone to our Twitter account.
14. Twitter Privacy Options and Twitter Security
If we opt to protect our account (block others), our Tweets will only be shown to accounts that we allow or the followers we approve. After we opt for this feature, a padlock will be displayed on our profile. This means, our account is private. When we add the information about our location; in our publications, the location will be displayed. We can configure the tagging option so that users can mention us in their posts and we will receive notifications. If we activate this option, users will not be able to tag us.
15. Twitter Recommendations
It is recommended to keep the Direct Messages option, activated so that other people can communicate with us, we can also filter the messages we want to receive. We can also enable or disable read receipts. Contact visibility allows users to locate us on Twitter with our email address or by phone number. With Contact visibility, we can delete and manage the contacts in our account. With security, we can configure the type of multimedia material that we want to see and that we can publish.
